Finding your Spirit - AIM by Angelina Diana

When was the last time you took a moment to say thank you for another day.

I remember my mom saying that to me when I was caring for her during her final battle with Cancer.

The pull of the Physical world is so strong that we sometimes forget to stop, take a deep breath, and appreciate the wonderment...that we are still breathing.


I wanted to share it all of you.
1) When you wake up, try to have your first thought be about the fact that you....woke up
Say
" I have another day to be here. Thank you"

Let your being fill up with appreciation. That appreciation will carry you through the day.

2) Do a self check on how you feel

Close your eyes.

Clear yourself of negativity , fear and procrastination. ( Your spirit doesn’t live there)

Fill your self with Positivity, strength, and inspiration (Your spirits home)

Moving away from Negativity comes Positivity
Moving away fear comes Strength and Growth
Moving away from Procrastination comes Inspiration


3) Picture your Day

Ask yourself
Is my day filled with actions and people that honor the higher good and my goals.

If the answer is Yes,

be grateful and remember to thank those people when you see them

Then pat yourself on the back because those people and things are mirrors to your actions.

Like attracts like.

If you cannot see positive mirrors in your life. Do not be discouraged, those that you see as negatives are wonderful teachers that in time with bring you growth and understanding about yourself.

Ask yourself, what is it that you need to shift in your life to change the energy around you. Instead of complaining about the negative around you , try to see how you can learn from it.

After you do this , you will feel a cleansing within your self that will help you see and feel your spirit. You will move through the day with

Learning to Forgive
Letting go of the hurtful past and learning to forgive. Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself. You are releasing any power anyone might have on you by forgiving those who might have an agenda against you or have hurt you. You are giving them power by letting them over take your thoughts and control your actions.
Awaken your Spirit


All to many times we get caught up in the rhythm of energy of others. Here are some suggestions to Awakening your Spirit.

1) Honor your own rhythm of energy. Before you jump out of bed in the morning, try to make your first thought about your path, your dreams and your hopes. (Most folks place their first thoughts in the world of work, bill paying, or concerns about other people’s judgements)

2) Affirmations Create an affirmation that keeps you on track. IE I will not let the negative energy of others affect me.

3)Appreciate nature Take 5 minutes during your work day to appreciate nature. Look out your window and notice the subtle changes of the seasons. Or bring a small plant for your desk. As you nurture its growth , know that you are being kind to your spirit by not getting caught up in the hectic pace of the day.

4) Understand the fruitfulness of forgiving. Forgiving is a gift you give yourself. Holding grudges and anger can dampening your spirit and make it hard for you to hear your higher self. Letting go is empowering. Letting go it honoring your path and not letting the grudge rule your life!

5) Giving Back Doing for others and understanding your purpose in it can help you discover your true path and your energy of how you tick.

6) Keeping a journal Writing down your true thoughts can help you feel like you are being heard. It is also a form of meditation. It helps you separate the mind noise from your higher self. Try it for one week then go back and read what you wrote. Automatically you will be able to judge whether you were writing down your real thought or thoughts that were affected by other people’s energy.
