MP refers to Metaphysical Practitioner which is a Psychic or Psychic Medium.
"How do I find a Psychic or Psychic Medium that I can trust?"
The MSESP feels that the best Psychic or Psychic Medium you can consult is YOURSELF!
Developing your own intuition within your own belief system is the best way to protect yourself. Then you can consult your own guides, angels, god, Higher self etc. The added bonus of empowering your own intuition is that you will also educate yourself on how a Legit practitioner works. Then if you find yourself in you need of consulting a Professional Practitioner, you will KNOW if they are Legit.
So, you are still looking for a Psychic or Psychic Medium ?
First you need to ask yourself a question
"Do I want a Psychic Reading or a Mediumship reading?
Not all Psychics are Mediums BUT all Mediums are Psychic.
so it is best first to know the difference between a psychic and a psychic medium so you know what to expect from a session.
Basic definition of a Psychic
A Psychic's purpose to provide validating information about the sitter's energy concerning their life issues and spiritual growth.
Basic definition of a Psychic Medium
A Medium's purpose is to provide proof of an afterlife by perceiving validating information from a loved one on the otherside.
The goal of a Psychic & Psychic Medium is to create a healing energy that enlightens and helps the sitter on their personal journey and does not foster or create a dependency on the Metaphysical Practitioner
Okay, Now that you have determined what kind of a practitioner you want you need to find one.
There are many a ways to find Metaphysical Practitioners but just because they say they are a Metaphysical practitioner doesn't mean they are ethical and legit. One of the main goals of the MSESP is to protect the sitter as they search for a trusted MP. So, lets take a journey together as we discuss the different way to find a MP. We will also discuss the pitfalls and red flags to look out for with each method.
NOTE: Just because we are listing each method it doesn’t mean we endorse it. We are here to inform you so you have no surprises. We have not found any solid evidence that any of these methods guarantee finding a legit practitioner.

The Yellow pages
Letting your fingers do the walking in the yellow pages can be risky. A risky form of Psychic roulette. You may stumble on a legit MP or you may choose wrong and be scammed. It is very hard to tell by looking at an ad whether the MP is legit or a scammer. So, if you choose to use the yellow pages, magazines or radio ads to choose your MP, please take a look at some of the suggestions below to help you understand how a Legit MP works.
Psychic Fairs
Psychic Fairs
Some folks have reported some success in finding a legit Practitioner at Psychic Fairs but it is like finding a needle in a haystack. You may encounter a fantastic Psychic or a medium but your usually only with them for a short time.
What to expect at a Psychic Fair
Most fairs do mini readings that last 15 minutes for 20 or 25 dollars. But just because you are at a psychic fair, it doesn’t mean that all the Practitioners are legit. Not all Psychic fairs are created equal nor are the MP's that work them. SO again, you should consider arming yourself with the knowledge of how a Legit MP works. If you like the reading the MP did at the fair, then you can choose to book a full session.
Scientific Studies
The world of science is investigating the afterlife. Many scientist and researcher have used the services of Medium for this purpose. Keep in mind that each scientific study may have a certain goal in mind and may utilize a range of medium for their experiments.
Seminar and Spirit Demonstrations
Seminars may be a way to see the demonstration of mediumship and you may learn a lot by watching a legit practitioner work with a room full of people. You may not get read but perhaps the process of watching a demonstration will show you the different ways of how the otherside gives validations.
recommendation from a friend
This method although sounding trustworthy does have its pitfalls. Sometimes your friends may have a different take on what is ethical and healing in a session. So while it may feel safe checking out the MP that a friend suggests not everybody's experience and expectations are the same for a session.
Remember We feel the BEST way to find a Metaphysical Practitioner is by understanding how a legit MP works. If you sense during the first 10 to 15 minutes of your session that they aren't connecting or they are using improper methods, You have EVERY right to stop the session and leave.
