Understanding the Psychic Senses to enhance your Psychic Development
Whether you are a Professional Psychic/Psychic Medium or a sitter, we hope the information in this section will be helpful to you.
Most people have had the experience of using their Psychic Senses without evening knowing it. Most people just aren't aware of how they got the information.
Have you smelled your late Mother's perfume & you don't know where it came from?
Have you had a gut feeling about something and you just had to follow it?
Have you received a message from the otherside?
Then you have used one or more of your psychic senses to receive that information!
We were all born with psychic abilities! Even if you never have the desire to be a professional psychic, understanding the psychic senses can enhance your life. One key in developing psychically is gaining an understanding of how you get your information. One of the main goals of this society is to help you enhance your own intuition.
Not all psychics are mediums but all mediums are psychic! So, If you want to grow in mediumship (connecting to the otherside), developing psychically is the first step and foundation of learning how to reach the otherside. Why? The otherside uses the psychic senses to reach you! Understanding the Psychic Senses will no doubt enhance your life. We feel if you learn about these senses and tap into your own abilities, you can create new ways for your loved ones on the otherside to reach you!
We'd like you to think of your own personal Psychic development as an invisible coat of protection. More importantly, the more you know about how a Psychic or Psychic medium works, the easier it will be for you to spot a phony. If you are aware of how some practitioners work, you can protect yourself from being scammed.
Note: If a Psychic or Psychic Medium isn't aware of how they get the information doesn’t mean that they are scamming you. It could just be they aren't aware of how they get their information. The number one thing to always look for in a reading is validating information from the Practitioner. This section is presented here to assist the sitter in how to develop his or her own abilities. It is also presented here to assist the Metaphysical Practitioner. Here's a brief explanation of the types of psychic ability:
Clar is French meaning Clear
Clairvoyance (clear-seeing)
Seeing images like a day dream in your head. Your guides or the otherside can send you symbols, objects, and scenes that play in your mind's eye. They can appear like a movie or a they can flash as image. The scene can be both literal or in your frame of reference. Also includes seeing colors auras, symbols. Takes place in the 3rd eye chakra located in the middle of the forehead. Remote viewing also takes place in the 3rd eye chakra and can be considered a form of Clairvoyance.
Clairaudience (clear-hearing)
Hearing a word or phrase in your head. This can include music. The sound is usual in your own thoughts. Similar to what is referred as Mind noise. That little voice in your head that says "gee did I turn that iron off?" The locations for this sense are on each side of the head, just above the ears. Some practitioners report that these sounds don’t always come from their ear region but sometimes emanates and vibrates from the throat chakra. Located in the throat region. Some describe it as guttural …Like they have to spit the sound out…..
Clairsentience (clear-feeling or clear-sensing)
Most people have experienced this. That feeling in your gut. This sense can also warn of upcoming situations. Some practitioners that are empaths connect to this sense by reading the aura of a sitter. That isn't the same as getting information by channeling up and getting it from higher guides and the otherside. But your guides and the otherside can use this sense by making you feel things. Sometimes the otherside will make you feel how they passed as validation for the sitter ie…making you feel short of breathe by indicating they passed by a lung illness……
However the otherside, with the protection of your guides, will only do this in your frame of reference. It is truly a working relationship between all parties when developing.

This sense is located in the solar plexus chakra above the belly button.
Clairalience (clear-smelling)
Smelling things. The otherside can send you smells that are connected to them…Perfume, roses , cigar smoke. It can be their way of contacting us, letting us know they're around.
Clairhambience (clear-tasting)
Tasting things without having eaten them. Most often relates to spirit communication, as with Clairalience.
One psychic sense can be stronger than the other..
Some teachers feel if you are a visual person you would be more Clairvoyant. More musical perhaps more Claraudient. But growing in each sense can enhance not only your personal journey but also your ability to help your sitters. All in All, we hope that this information is informative and helpful.
