MP refers to Metaphysical Practitioner which is a Psychic or Psychic Medium.

The best way to protect yourself is to arm yourself with the knowledge of how a MP works. The plus is, through this process, you will enhance your own natural intuition! Ideally, the goal is not to rely on MP's too much and trust your own intuition within your own belief system, whether it's to consult your own guides, angels, god, higher self etc....

So on Occasion you want to consult a Psychic or Psychic Medium?


So how do you know you are with a Legitimate Psychic or Psychic Medium?
Yes, many MP's work differently and utilize different abilities, tools and gifts during a reading. But one thing holds true, the information coming from a MP should be validating (giving you information about you and your energy) and should be statement of energy and information that is coming through, meaning you didn't feed the MP with the information. SO here are a few things to look out for that should be red flag to you as a sitter.

Cursing
No not swearing :)
If a MP claims there is a curse on you and offers to remove it for an additional charge... Take your money and run!
A legit MP always honors your Free will. Free will is our ability to make choices in life. If we couldn't make choices we wouldn't be able to learn lessons. Free will is how we create our paths and shape our future? No psychic has that kind of power that they can change your future by removing a curse. A legitmate psychic medium should not take away your free will! You go to a psychic to get a sense of the energy that is coming up for you so you CAN use your free will to change you path or keep it the same.

Sponging
Some unethical readers will hold off information until the end of a session and offer to tell you it "If you pay more money" This is also know as luring. Suggestion: When you set an appointment with a MP, ask how long the session is BEFORE you start and how long can it approx last.

Padding
Be aware if an MP is filling the readings will to many flowery compliments. Yes, the otherside can bring through information of how you look but too many flowery compliments sometimes can be a technique an MP may knowing or unknowingly use. It is a false way to gain trust during reading. Always remain skeptical until Validating information comes through! Validation from your guides or the otherside it THE way to know you can trust an MP!
Sometimes it is just the inexperience of the MP. Let's face it they are human too and may need to work on their presentation or they could be having an off day.

An inexperienced MP may do this to fill in the silence of a reading and it become a habit. Before you write off the MP as a scammer, still hear them out for validating information.

Fishing
BIG ONE! Be aware if you find your self giving TOO much information. This happens when the MP asks too many questions! More than likely they are giving their opinion back to rather than validation. Validation IS SO IMPORTANT. It bears repeating Validation IS SO IMPORTANT.

Psychically Attacking or luring.
It is unethical for an Psychic or Psychic Medium to approach you and read you without your permission.
Just because they may be picking something up on you doesn't give them the right to approach you and launch into a reading.
If an ethical MP did receive a message for you, their guides will present an opportunity for the information to get to you.
Some Psychic or Psychic Medium may psychically attack someone just to lure them in to a full session. THIS IS UNETHICAL.
The Sitter or in this case the unsuspecting sitter has the right to say
"STOP, I did not ask for a reading here."
The red flag here is the Luring part. Sometimes it all boils down to the intention of the Psychic or Psychic Medium. Did they tell you this tidbit to lure you into a reading just because they wanted to make money off you. It may be that they are sharing the information because they know you and care but again the opportunity will present it self. Bottom line you have the right to say I dont want to be read now.

Medical Advice.
Be wary of an MP that gives Medical advice with out keeping your Free will intact. It is illegal for an MP to diagnose you. Only An MD can!

Cold reading
Cold reading is when an unethical pratitioner reads your facial cues, makes judgement and validations off the clothes your are wearing. If you notice an alledged MP giving you elevator eyes and no validation.....this could be a red flag.
Dialing direct to the otherside
A Big Red Flag is a medium who claims they can summon up whom ever you wish to hear from. Be very wary of this.
Sadly, a sitter may be so hurt from losing someone that they may be tempted to see someone who claims they can dial direct to the otherside.
Remember that there are some bad practitioners in this field that prey on the vulnerability of a sitter who is in mourning. As a sitter, if you set this high standard that NO ONE can dial direct to the otherside..the validation will be more rewarding for you when an ethical practitioner helps you connect to the otherside. Who ever is suppose to come through will.

Again, we stress here at the MSESP the best psychic medium that you can ever consult is you! You have the strongest connection to your guides and those who have crossed.
