SIGNS Coincidence or wishful thinking??????? I had a wonderful sign from my mom in 2005. April was extremely tuff because it marked the one anniversary of my Mom's Passing. On April 6th,2005 My husband and I were running around getting things ready for our family gathering to honor my Mom. Before we knew it was dinner and we hadn’t eaten all day. After the normal “Where do you want to eat speech” and me being so wishy washy about it, My hubby pulled into the closest restaurant off the highway. As we waited in the lobby to be seated it hit me like a ton of bricks....This eatery is the very eatery our family went to the day Mom died.. My family and I ran around a year ago making arrangements and we pulled off the highway here at the Skyline restaurant to get food. We also determined that day that this would be the gathering place our family would go to after we buried her. I made this comment to my husband that how strange that I find myself here again, a year to the date and feeling the same way ...exhausted after making arrangements to honor my Moms passing. My husband didn’t know that my family stopped here. He told me to keep my senses open and that maybe Mom was saying hi. Even though I wasn’t convinced it was a true blue sign, I thanked her because it takes an amazing amount of energy to send a sign. I asked her to send me another one ,if she could, so I knew she was here. I even asked why she was trying to reach me. I then went on to the business of ordering food. The hostess sat us down and it happened to be in the same section I sat in a year ago. Ok could be a coincidence. Then I notice only 3 place settings..There was an empty place setting next to me. Why not four? I asked the hostess and she apologized and said that the server probably didn’t finish the 4th setting. She started to remove the 3rd place setting. I stopped her and asked her to leave it. My hubby eyes started to roll. The busy hostess shrugged it off and went to get our waitress. You see, my mom always placed an empty chair and an extra place setting at the table when I was a kid. She did this as a reminder to all of her children about those who are less fortunate than we were. This was also a sign I received from my mom last year when our whole family was here!!! When I noticed this I looked at my husband. He said, looks like Mom is here. I again thanked her. Again, It takes an incredible amount of energy to do this. But for some reason, I really wasn’t convinced yet. I am sure it was just pure exhaustion setting in . I was so tired. But Mom wasn’t done yet. Dinner came and as I took my first bite of Lasagna I made the comment....NO one made this dish better than mom did.....Just then A special song ( that rarely gets played ever) and sign from my mom came over the loud speakers of the eatery! This was the song title I whispered in her ear as she was passing. I asked her to send me it to me when she wanted to say hi! NO ONE knows about it.....I lost it. I sat in the middle of my pasta crying tears of Joy.....To me, those personal events where a sign Coincidence or wishful thinking??????? Some wish to blow off such events because of the simple explanation that a light can go off because its current is weak and has nothing to do with the otherside. Sometimes that is the case. Lights can go bad and flicker but there is something else that must be present to make it a sign and that is our personal connection to that person and a reason why they want to say hi. That is why validation is so important during a reading. That is why validation for you should be important when asking the question " Coincidence or wishful thinking." So many folks ask me why doesn't the otherside send something more personal then a light flicker, feather or a penny. Then I ask them if they have asked their loved one for THAT personal or different sign. The answer 9 time outta ten is "No they didn’t think to ask." Sometimes I think the otherside uses a flickering light so much because we here are this earth plan have defined that as a sign. I can just imagined the otherside saying "Well, they aren’t paying attention to the song I played or that empty chair so I will send them a feather and then they will get that I am saying hi!" All joking aside, I really want you to think of the unique way that your loved one connected to you when they were on this earth plane. This is the way you will know its them. That is what you can ask them to send you as a sign. When you get a possible sign think of doing the following 1 First thank them for the fact that they may be trying to reach you. It takes an incredible amount of energy to send a sign. 2 Ask yourself why would they want to reach me on this date, is it significant to them or personalized to me in any way. 3 Consider asking for another sign to back it up. 4 After you receive a possible sign, write them down and see if there is a true personal connection to you. See if there is a running theme with how they connect with you. It is very hard for us to think of our loved ones on the otherside being unable to talk to us. For example, I miss my Mom's voice so much. Her soft voice saying my name brought me so much comfort and security. I had to face the hard truth that my mom is speaking a new language now called Spiritual Symbology. I may not be able to hear her voice but she sends me symbols of our love bond when I need it. I do ask to hear her voice as a sign but it hasnt happened yet. I am sure that I will get that when I really need it. What bonds us to those on the other side is the Love that remains. It is that love and that personal connection they will use to reach you. That is why others are so easy convinced that it is a coincidence because they don't have that personal connection and they see your sign as weak. I feel for those who are so excited after they get a sign and they want to share it with others, only to find their validations are shot down or expained away as a coincidence. I wouldn't expect those not connected to my mom to understand my validations because they dont have a love bond with my Mom. As long as you know that sign personally connected you and your loved one, that is what matters. In my opinion, that is the answer to what a sign is! It is an event that PERSONALLY connects you to your loved one. They will reach you in a way that will be familiar to you. The sign will define your relationship in a way that you will understand. It up to us to crack the code of that Spiritual Symbology. You can reach your loved ones better than any professional medium can! I feel when we get a sign, we are all Mediums at that point because we are picking up the vibrational energy of our loved ones.
