In tune with The Otherside

The afternoon of Good Friday 2004, I was trying to settle into bed. I was exhausted. I just laid my Mom to rest and I was missing her. I was thinking about how hard she fought her cancer. I was so sure she was with me but I was missing her face. I tried to trace her image in my head, trying to remember her before cancer took her from me. I was also fighting my anger. I got to spend some time with her body before I buried her.
I noticed that someone took her Rosary beads. Without hesitation, I gave her mine. As I tried to make sense as to why someone would take her beads, I remembered what my Mom used to say-
"When you lose something do not be upset , maybe the person who has it needs it more then you."
Knowing how much the Rosary meant to my mom, it gave me some comfort to think that who ever took them , felt the comfort they gave my mom.
Just as those thoughts came to my mind, the door bell rang. My husband told me that there was a package for me.
As I traced my hands along the package, I noticed the address, it was from New York. I was touched to see who it was from.
I opened up the package and could not believe my eyes. They were Rosary Beads! The note said that the sender wanted me to have these and they were from
Mexico City. They were magnificent - made of wood, they had beautifully hand painted scenes on the beads and when you looked at the cross there was a gorgeous picture of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The picture illuminated when the light hit it. Just beautiful. Looking at them brought me peace because they were very validating, Mom and I would talk about Mexico City and her feelings about our lady.
I have always felt these beads were from my Mom. I felt that somehow a message from my Mom got to the sender in New York. She knew I gave up my rosary beads for
her and she replaced them.
3 years have passed and those beads have remained one of the most important signs and connections I have felt from my Mom. They mean the world to me and I will always be grateful to the sender.
Recently, a dear friend lost her mother to an illness. She lives out on Long Island. Weeks before , my friend and I had attended a medium's bootcamp retreat in the Bahamas. Our friendship was sealed when we decided to go on a dolphin swim. So hearing of the sudden passing of her Mom broke my heart.
I called the florist and sent flowers to Garden city, New York where the wake was going to take place. That evening before I drifted off to sleep, I had this feeling that I had to go to Long Island and be at the wake and pay my respects.
That night my Mom paid a visit in my dreams! She handed me the rosary beads that were sent to my house from New York she said-
"Give these to your friend. She needs them."
The dream was such a vivid visit that when I woke up that Morning and knew I had to go to the wake. I cancelled my clients. I made the trip to Garden City , Long
Island with the precious Rosary beads from New York and also with some reservation. Frankly, I didn't even know if my friend was catholic. Also, I had grown quite attached to these beads. I asked my Mom if she could make it clear to me why I was giving my friend something that brought me so much comfort. These beads where so dear to me, this was hard for me to give them up. But I knew my Mom and her intentions. When she was physically here she always did things like this. She also would make me see the gift during times of difficulty.
I arrived at the wake in Garden City and saw my friend by her Mom. I approached her , hugged her and held out the beads and said.
"I am suppose to give these to you. My Mom came to me in a dream."
She started to cry. She looked like she couldn't believe
what she was seeing.
She explained to me why she got so emotional.
When my friend arrived before the wake, she was heart broken to find that they forgot to put Rosary beads in with her Mom! Her Mom was a Rosarian! Rosary beads were so important to her.
That was all the validation I needed that I made the right decision. Then I remember what my Mom said, that when you lose something do not be upset, maybe the person who has it needs it more then you! Those beads where not mine to keep. They still had some work to do to help bring validation that my friends mom was okay.. I feel my mom and my friends Mom worked this out together from the otherside.
I felt not only did this help give validation to my friend but it made me feel like I was taking a turn in my healing process.
Just seeing the look on my friends face made me feel that my Mom's energy was with me, loving me and still teaching me.
The otherside is so in tune with each

Dear Angelina
Two and a half years ago I got married. The night of
the bachelorette party I hired a psychic more as a form of entertainment. I was the last one to have my reading done. Midway through the reading she looked way from me towards the couch and started having a conversation with someone that wasn't there. She explained that their was a lady over there and described her to me. She described my grandmother who had passed 16 years prior. Everything she described was my grandmother things she nor anyone else in the house would have known.
Well after
that weird things started happening in the house. Missing objects
cat acting funny things that were lost long ago appearing in obvious
places. These things never happened before that night.
I was wondering if this psychic could have opened a door for my grandmother to come through or is it just a strange coincidence. Any help would be great. I Listen to you all the time on 95.7 and just get goose bumps. I have tried so many times to get through but never succeed.

First, I am sorry about the loss of your Grandmother.
I feel that this experience has open you up and you are just more aware of the energy around you. Your grandmother was always around you. I do not feel any medium has the power to make spirit stay with you. Your grandmother has a connection to you not the medium. My hope is that you would or could find comfort that she is around you but if that is not the case, politely ask your grandmother to contact you in a way
that you are comfortable with.
The other thing I need to make you aware of is that things happening in your home could also be caused BY YOU. That's right! psychokinetic energy or PK is when we humans create so much energy ( usually out of fear) and we make objects move or door slam etc. So if you are fearing that "There is a spirit in your house" you could actually be making this happen out of fear. Try to change how you think of the energy. Your Grandmother's spirit can not hurt you. She is around you because she LOVES you..
I would also like to say that using a professional psychic or psychic medium for entertainment is where you might have made a little misstep. As you can see, it is a real energy that we work with. It should be taken seriously. An ethically Practitioner does this work to heal and help others not to entertain.

If you are grieving someone you must honor that sadness but I have recently learned that taking inventory on what blessing remain can help make that dark veil of grief looking a little lighter.
Finding fun or participating in fun is so hard when you are grieving. I feel blessed that the otherside has pulled me out that dark place by making see I still have so much life to enjoy here.
