A Gentle Understanding of the Chakras The chakras are energy centers within the body that help us receive, process, and express life, emotion, and spirit. They act as meeting places between the physical body and the spiritual self, allowing energy to move, settle, and connect. During grief or emotional stress, these energy centers can feel heavy or quiet — not broken, just tired. By bringing gentle awareness, breath, and compassion to them, we support balance and presence rather than trying to fix anything. When the chakras soften, it often becomes easier to rest in the quiet, sense connection, and feel supported. There is no right or wrong way to work with the chakras. Simply noticing them with kindness is enough.
